We had a lovely stay at Daphne’s house.
The house is actually better that advertised. It is spotless clean, really well decorated and we found everything needed ( kitchen appliance, barbecue, towels etc…).
We loved the fact that the house is on top of a mountain with no neighbors at all, a fabulous view and the hot tub was a big plus too.
Daphne was the perfect host, here when we needed her, and she gave us nice tips about the area.
If you have a car it is the perfect place to stay to discover western Crete, except that it would be hard to leave this amazing house.
Thanks for everything Daphne, we can’t wait to come back.
I spent a few nights at this incredible house with three other friends, and we all loved it. Mrs Anastasia was kind and welcoming, showed us the way to the house, and gave us all the instructions we needed. Daphne was also very helpful, and got in touch whenever she felt we could use some advice.
The house is spectacular. It looks better than in the pictures, the view is breathtaking, and it was very clean and organized. If you want peace and quiet with a touch of elegance, this is the place for you. You will need a car, though.
If I decide to visit the Chania region again, I will definitely stay at Villa Orgoni again.

We spent a very nice stay in this villa with our 3 children (4, 7 and 8 years old), very well decorated with a wonderful view. Our host was very kind and responsive. We hilghly recommand this place for people interested in a quiet area.
Villa Orgoni is an exceptional, very spacy house, very good equiped in a great landscape. Daphne was very helpful, friendly and reliable. She helped us instantly when we asked her. For us she was a superhost.

We had a very pleasant stay, enjoyed the nice & clean villa, mostly the refreshing pool & the amazing view across the mountains. The owner Daphne made us feel welcome and was reachable any time. If you are looking for a relaxing place off the touristic tracks but close enough to any bigger sights this is the one. Please note that the villa is locating quite far up the hill with tricky streets – if you are an experienced driver with an appropriate car this shouldn’t represent a major challenge though. Overall a great time in a nice place, recommendable for sure.
Beautiful villa with an amazing view. The house is clean, big en luxurious. Really soft beds, aircon in everyroom and lovely jacuzzi. The owners are really lovely, communicated clearly and fast.

We had nice two weeks in the nice villa. Daphne and Jason were very helpful! The view is marvelous and the villa itself! We enjoyed every day.
Wir (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind) haben insgesamt 3 Wochen lang in der wunderschönen Villa verbracht. Wir wurden am ersten Tag bei unserer Ankunft von Daphne herzlich empfangen, mit frischen Orangen, frischen Eiern aus eigener Haltung, Süßigkeiten, Raki und sogar Moussakas, selbst gemacht von ihrer Mutter. Das Lage des Hauses ist wirklich phänomenal. Komplett umgeben von Olivenbäumen, majestätisch gelegen auf dem steilen Berg mit einem absolut atemberaubenden Blick auf die wunderschöne Landschaft und die höchsten Berge Kretas. Die Villa ist stilvoll und “jazzy” eingerichtet und unterscheidet sich von der “typischen” kretischen Villa. In der Küche fehlte es uns an nichts. Ein guter Gasgrill war ebenfalls vorhanden. Den schönen Pool sowie die bequeme Hängematte haben wir jeden Tag genutzt, sobald wir von den Ausflügen zurück waren. Jeder Morgen begann mit einem Konzert der Hähne und Pfauen aus dem Dorf unten, sowie unzähligen Vogelstimmen. Außer den Tieren hört man, wenn man gute Ohren hat, höchstens noch den Gemüsemann, der morgens hupend durchs Dorf fährt und via Lautsprecher Tomaten etc. verkauft. Ansonsten ist es wirklich absolut still – phantastisch. Neue Handtücher, Bettwäsche und Reinigung wurden uns alle drei Tage angeboten. Außerdem hat Daphne immer wieder frische Eier und Orangen gebracht. Die Zufahrt ist ein kleines Abenteuer aber absolut machbar, auch mit einem ganz normalen Auto. Der Kontakt mit Daphne war schnell und einfach via WhatsApp möglich. Der Besitzer kann sich glücklich schätzen, so ein gutes Management-Team zu haben. Wir vermissen das Haus schon jetzt sehr und hoffen, eines Tages zurückkommen zu können!
The final part of the road to the villa is a bit of a challenge and we were very pleased to have a four-wheel-drive vehicle. It is possible to access it without four-wheel-drive but I certainly wouldn’t recommend the standard compact rental car that one might hire elsewhere on Crete.
The upside of its location is that you stay in splendid isolation; views over the village and the odd sounds drifting up, but there is nobody else nearby. We loved that.
You can get to plenty of lovely beaches and towns such as Chania very easily from the villa, so it’s an ideal place from which to visit Western Crete.
